Kate Wollensak
Kate assumes overall responsibility for effective Y-USA strategies in the areas of organizational development, leadership effectiveness, performance development, employee engagement, talent acquisition, HR operations and total rewards. She also serves as staff liaison to the Executive Compensation Committee of the National Board of Directors.
Prior to joining Y-USA in 2019, Kate served as V.P., Human Resources at the Alzheimer’s Association, where she supported the nonprofit’s enterprise workplace initiatives during their transformation from a federated to unified organizational model.
Before the Alzheimer’s Association, Kate supported change management initiatives in the manufacturing, service and consumer sectors in senior HR roles for brands such as Morton Salt, PepsiCo, Berkshire Hathaway and SBC/Ameritech.
Kate holds a master’s degree in business administration from Benedictine University and a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University.
