The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth seeks a dynamic and experienced Association Director of Information Technology to lead our IT department. This pivotal role oversees the development and implementation of our IT strategy, ensuring the delivery of innovation solutions that support our mission of strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Qualifications

Education: The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications such as ITIL or PMP are preferred, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Skills/Experience: 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in IT management, with a proven track record of leading IT departments and successfully implementing technology solutions.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, cybersecurity practices, and data management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the YMCA's mission and values, with a passion for leveraging technology to support community initiatives.
Essential Functions

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the YMCA's mission and business objectives. Lead the IT department in delivering high-quality technological solutions that enhance internal operations and member services.
  • IT Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including network infrastructure, data security, software application management, and user support services.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the organization's requirements. This includes software implementations, system upgrades, and the introduction of new technologies.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor IT staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Ensure team members are aligned with the YMCA's values and have the skills and support needed to succeed.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure value for the organization.
  • Policy Development and Compliance: Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Oversee data privacy and cybersecurity initiatives to protect sensitive information and ensure data integrity.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to projects and operational needs. Conduct regular reviews to ensure fiscal responsibility and identify cost-saving opportunities.

The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth offers a competitive salary and benefits package for selected candidates.

The yearly salary range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000 and will be commensurate with the selected candidates experience.
