The Dance Instructor will provide a structured class teaching students in variety of dances.
Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide a structured class teaching students in variety of dances such as a hip hop, ballet, tap, jazz, hula, break dancing, etc.
  • Create Lesson plans for each class as well as choreograph routines for performances and events.
  • Coordination of registration of participants
  • Assist in the responsibility for the success of the Dance program including: fundraising, special events, and marketing
  • Ensure the safety of all participants at all times

Hours: Part-Time/Non-Exempt position. Must be available Monday to Friday 4 pm - 8 pm; Saturday 9 am - 1 pm; Sunday 11 am - 1 pm.

Wage: $16.00 per hour starting rate; benefits not applicable

Worksite: Anaheim Downtown Community Center or West Anaheim Youth Center, and Stanton Central Park.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Experience working with children (paid or volunteer) preferred, but not required
  • Be CPR/First Aid Certified within the first 30 days of employment and keep current for condition of continued employment.
