Provide leadership and supervision and ensure the health, safety and general well-being of the children and staff in the camp community. Be an ambassador for Camp Fuller, the Program Coordinator should be knowledgeable on the history and the future vision of camp and be able to speak in an effective manner on all programs offered. This position includes housing at Camp Fuller and some meals are included in the summer season.

Pre-Season:
- Become familiar with all camp software including but not limited to: Daxko, Campspace and bunk1
- Answer phone calls from potential camp families.
- Prepare lessons for specified program areas
- Research and develop new program areas that would fit the needs of the campers
- Inventory and order program supplies for upcoming Summer season.
- Assist in developing new marketing strategies for camp
- Attend Camp Fairs and community events to promote camp as needed
- Assist families with all registration paperwork
- Interview and hire counselors/program staff for upcoming season
- Plan for staff training with the Camp Director
- Assist with the programming of seasonal rentals in conjunction with the Guest Services Director
Camp Season: (June-August)
- Facilitate Staff training
- Know the name and preferred pronouns of all staff members
- On check in day, be a warm welcoming face to the camp families
- Inventory and order supplies as needed with a focus on budgetary restraint
- Assist with camp store operations
- Create a weekly program schedule for staff and program areas. Adjust as needed based on registration numbers
- Ensure safety of campers in program areas with walkarounds and filling out quick checks
- Work with staff on their professional development
- Act as liaison between parents, campers and staff regarding camper behavior.
- Treat the children with dignity and respect. Recognize their individuality and diversity.
- Oversee evening and weekend programming
- Attend all meals
- Be able to work longer nights up to 12am on a rotating basis
- Attend daily meetings with the Camp Director to discuss daily operations and updates
Post Camp Season
- Assist with the winterization of camp including but not limited to cleaning, organizing, and inventory.
- Be available to work weekends and nights during rentals.
- Assist in any rental needs as assigned by the Guest Services Director
- Attend debrief meeting on relevant camp topics
- Assist with lost and found camper belonging requests
- Assist program staff with the planning and delivery of special events to support family engagement and program exposure.
- Support the collection and maintenance of data on participants growth, including pre/post tests for enrichment activities, SEL assessments and other data metrics that speak to program quality and fidelity.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School (GED) as minimum and additional training in specialty area
- Minimum two years experience working with children.
- Minimum one year in a Management role
- Preference: Sailing, Windsurfing or other Aquatic skill a plus
CERTIFICATES and LICENSES
- Current driver’s license with the ability to secure a RI Chauffeur’s license
- Red Cross Lifeguard certification
- RI Boat Driver’s license
- Archery certification
- Other certifications as deemed appropriate
